Effective Revision Techniques for JEE/NEET
Multiple revisions are necessary for a sound preparation of any competitive exam. The following techniques can help you in effective revision for JEE/NEET preparation:
● Start early – As soon as the academic session begins, start your self study regularly from the beginning. If you complete the syllabus on time, then only you will be able to keep sufficient time for revision.
● Reasonable targets – Set rational goals to cover the syllabus considering all other activities and constraints.
● Time table – A proper time management chart should be made considering all your requirements and schedule and then it should be followed religiously.
● Small tasks evaluation – Simplify your goals into smaller tasks and keep evaluating your progress, so that there are no major hassles in the end.
● Achievements – Whenever you are able to achieve any small goal, reward yourself and move forward with full energy for the next one. This will keep you motivated till the last minute.
● Proper Study Plan –Whatever notes you have made while covering the syllabus, will serve as the basis of your study plan for revision.
● Practice and doubts resolving – Any revision is incomplete without sufficient practice in writing and solving PYQ’S. Complete resolution of doubts must be done to gain confidence and clarity of concepts.
● Mock Papers – Mock papers as per the actual pattern of the exam and in real exam environment are the best source of revision and evaluation of your preparation level.
